Once shipped, orders typically arrive within 5-7 business days. Please allow 2-3 days processing time for prison inspection.
Most facilities DO NOT process mail during the weekends or holidays.
What happens if you send photos to prison and they are returned?
Never fear! We’ve got you covered.
If your photos are returned, they’ll most likely be mailed directly to Pelipost unless the facility requires your personal address. Once the images arrive back at Pelipost — a process that can take weeks — our team will update the status of your order to “returned.”
In most cases, your incarcerated loved one will be informed of the reason for the return. If not, please submit an inquiry to learn why the photos weren’t accepted.
The most common causes for a returned package are:
In the above scenarios, we are unable to issue a refund for your order.
You can, however, modify and resend the order for a $1.99 reprocessing fee. If the photos contain prohibited content, we can remove the prohibited images. The reprocessing fee includes the cost of shipping and handling.
Pelipost processes and prints all photos in-house. This means that your images remain private and secure until they arrive at the facility. Once the photos reach the facility, they will be screened and inspected by prison staff.
